Chalet Paula - sleeps 10/12 plus baby cot.

Chalet Paula was built for us in 2000. It was designed as a family home with five double bedrooms, three bathrooms and four toilets and all the facilities a modern chalet needs. It includes underfloor heating and woodburning stove, satellite t.v., games, bikes, all the things to ensure a wonderful holiday. Please click on photos to get more details.

Set in the picturesque village of Morillon, it is the culmination of our dream, having skiied for many years and in many resorts, we realised the fantastic potential of this quaint picturesque Savoyard village. The area ticked all the boxes for both wonderful winter and summer holidays.
The Giffre Valley offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps. Rivers and lakes are very close by (walking distance from the Chalet) and of course, we are only 200 metres away from the gondola lift that connects directly with all of the Grand Massif ski area, offering 265 km of pisted ski slopes.

The snow record of the area is one of the most reliable throughout Europe due to the close proximity of Mont Blanc. Skiing is available from mid-December to late April.

Morillon itself is an authentic working savoyard village. It has a varied selection of specalised shops from sports shops to restaurants and supermarket. This is only 4 km from Samoens which is a large town and is a historic monument starting from the 12th Century.
